Mr. William (Bill) Hunter is the President/Owner of Northern Opportunities Facilitation Inc. (NOFI), a consulting service which started in September 2004. NOFI is focused on projects such as Northern Ecumenical Development, Aboriginal Capacity Building, bio-based economies and business planning and mentoring. Mr. Hunter retired as President and COO, Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. in April 2004 after 13 years with the company, including construction and start up. He is also former president of the Alberta Chamber of Resources. He had been in the forest industry for 31 years and worked in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. Mr. Hunter was named as one of Alberta’s 50 most Influential People in 2002 – Venture Magazine and a recipient of the Alberta Centennial Medal in 2005.
