Dr. Bob Church is Professor Emeritus of Medical Biochemistry, University of Calgary. He previously held positions as Associate Dean (Medical Research) and Founding Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Biochemistry at the University of Calgary. He has been a director of various companies including Ciba-Geigy, Neurosphere Ltd., Vencap Equities Alberta Ltd., and is Chairman of the Canadian Science and Technology Growth Fund, and an AVAC Board Member. He was a founding member of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, Canadian Institute of Advanced Research and is a former member of the Medical Research Council of Canada and the Alberta Research Council.
